About this Event
One day letterpress printing workshops are now being offered in the "Mark Twain Room" in
the Historic Fourth Ward School Museum in Virginia City, Nevada.
Learn the basics of the 550+ year old art and craft of Letterpress Printing from Steve Robison, an experienced letterpress printer.
Be able to walk away with a special hand printed piece to share with your friends and family, and then if you're really hooked, schedule a time later to come back (for free!) to create and print other letterpress projects of your choosing with guidance from Steve!
We ask that you bring a favorite quote to set in type (we'll supply the type!).
The workshop fee is $25 for nonmembers, $20 for Fourth Ward School Museum members, for one of the Saturday Workshops listed below. Each workshop will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm :

For adults 18 or older. Those younger than 18-years-old may participate if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Because the instructor has limited supplies and tools, walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a space. It is encouraged that you reserve your seat ahead of time.
Sign-ups will only be taken up to 3 days before the workshop date, to allow the instructor time to prepare the necessary equipment and supplies needed
