Tango Calor is a collective of musicians who love Argentine tango music. Formed by bandoneonist Mirek Salmon in 2016, the group also features guitar virtuoso Daryl Kellie and sensational vocalist Jimi Can. Mirek has performed with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company amongst others. Daryl Kellie has been described by D'Addario strings as "truly stunning", and Jimi Can is a consummate showman who is a key figure from Bristol's burgeoning Afro-Cuban and Flamenco music scenes. Tango Calor has performed across the country at arts centres, tango clubs and world music festivals. Appearances include the La Linea festival in London, the Cheltenham International Tango Festival, Glasto Latino, La Ronda in Puglia, and the Cosmo Jazz Festival in France. Tango Calor are often called upon to accompany visiting Argentine artists and also collaborate regularly with orchestras to perform the works of Astor Piazzolla."wonderful playing" - In Tune, Radio 3
