About this Event
We are thrilled to welcome Cornwall-based dark fantasy author Sam K. Horton back to Waterstones Truro, to celebrate the paperback launch of Ragwort, the second book in his incredible Eythin Legacy series.
Featuring landscapes to match a Daphne du Maurier novel, and a historical Bodmin moor setting that will fire the depths of your imagination, Sam is one of the most exciting fantasy authors around. His debut novel, Gorse, drew praise from booksellers and fantasy readers across the country, with hotly anticipated follow up Ragwort picking up the story of epic realms and creatures of Cornish folklore. Find out how the Cornish landscapes that surround us have impacted upon Sam's writing, and what inspired him to begin writing a genre-obliterating fantasy series. This is most definitely a talk that will inspire other budding writers and readers. Do not miss it.
After the talk, there will be a Q&A and book signing. Books ordered in advance will be available for collection on the night. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
