About this Event
We Breed Lions, a powerful investigative book that examines the culture of hockey in Canada. The book explores how a sport that is deeply loved across the country has also been shaped by serious issues, including abuse, hazing, and sexual misconduct, while examining how systems and institutions sometimes protected reputations over people. Drawing on survivor stories, player experiences, and major hockey investigations, the book gives voice to those who have been harmed while also highlighting the growing movement to create safer, more respectful, and accountable sport environments.
