Join the Inland Waterways Association's Lichfield Branch for an evening with \*Richard Parry\*, retired \*Chief Executive\* of the \*Canal & River Trust\*.A change of format from our usual meetings as there will be no presentation as such. The evening will be a Q&A session with Richard about his time with CRT and anything else anybody wishes to raise. Richard joined CRT in 2013, a year after its creation, and led the organisation through its critical formative years to become an established and well-supported national charity.
Meetings are held on the third Friday of each month at Darwin Hall, Lichfield, from 7:15 pm and everyone is welcome.
There's a car park off Heathcot Place, Lichfield, WS13 6RQ, and also close by at Waitrose, WS13 6RX. Darwin Hall may also be reached on foot from Cathedral Walk.
The evening will be in two parts, with light refreshments served during the interval, and you are invited to take part in a raffle in aid of branch funds, which are used to support canal restorations in our area.
There is also a bookstall selling waterways-related items.
