About this Event
The great Kate DiCamillo is coming to Concord, NC! Please help us welcome her as we celebrate the launch of her new book, Love and Mercy (from the Mercy Watson series). Goldberry's owner, David Kern, will be intereviewing her about her career and her work and why she loves telling stories for kids and then there will be time for audience questions and a book signing.
This event will take place in the theater of the Cabarrus Arts Council in Downtown Concord. Tickets can be purchased for $22/ticket, with a copy of the new book, or for $10, without it. A 4-ticket bundle + a copy of the new book can be purchased for $30 (a great option for families).

Kate DiCamillo is the beloved author of many books for young readers, including the Because of Winn-Dixie and the Mercy Watson and Tales from Mercy Watson's Deckawoo Drive series. Her novels Flora & Ulysses and The Tale of Despereaux both received Newbery Medals. A former National Ambassador for Young People's Literature, she lives in Minneapolis.
