An Evening with Guardian Cellars : Winemaker Dinner at Skosh
A cop and a crime reporter walk into a winery…
Join us at Skosh for a private evening with Jerry Riener and Jennifer Sullivan, the husband-and-wife team behind Guardian Cellars. He was a police officer, she covered the crime beat, he was even her confidential source. Together they founded Guardian Cellars in Woodinville, Washington, and built it into one of the state's most loved wineries, known for bold Bordeaux-style reds with names pulled straight from a detective novel.
Jerry and Jennifer are coming to Boise to pour four of their wines alongside a four-course dinner crafted to match.
The menu:
First: Herbed goat cheese crostini with cucumber ribbon, paired with The Angle
Second: Arugula salad with roasted beets, blackberry vinaigrette, and shaved parmesan, paired with Newsprint Cabernet Sauvignon
Third: Glazed short rib over wild mushroom risotto, paired with Gun Metal, Guardian's flagship Bordeaux blend
Sweet finish: Black forest chocolate bite paired with The Alibi
The evening: doors open at 5:30 with a welcome pour at 6:00, seated dinner with the winemakers 6–8, then a mingling hour 8–9PM, meet Jerry and Jennifer, ask anything, enjoy a final glass.
Your $70 ticket includes all four courses with wine pairings. Seating is limited to 30 guests. 21+ only. Please note any dietary restrictions at checkout and we'll do our best to accommodate.
