An evening of stories, laughter and beautifully awkward truthsAttention all lovers of sharp wit, literary brilliance and gloriously uncomfortable observations: David Sedaris is returning to Europe.
Following the release of his latest collection, The Land and Its People, America’s beloved humorist and bestselling author brings his unmistakable voice to Zürich for an unforgettable evening of storytelling, satire and laugh-out-loud honesty.
This is far more than a traditional book reading.
With the timing of a stand-up comedian and the precision of a master essayist, Sedaris transforms everyday life into something hilariously profound. Family dynamics, social disasters, travel mishaps and the strange rituals of modern existence all become material in the hands of one of the world’s most celebrated storytellers.
Throughout the evening, David will share brand-new unpublished stories, personal diary entries and unexpected musical moments — offering audiences a rare glimpse into the wonderfully peculiar machinery of his mind.
One minute you’ll be crying with laughter.
The next, quietly reconsidering your own awkward dinner party behavior.
And as always, every ticket includes access to an exclusive pre- and post-show book signing.
