About this Event
Join us at The People’s Room of Mobile for an intimate evening of original music with Curt Winn, joined by Ross Graham and Jay Stafford for a night of heartfelt songwriting, storytelling, and roots-inspired music.
Born along the banks of the Mississippi River, Curt’s life has been shaped by a unique combination of service, adventure, and music. For more than 20 years, he served as a helicopter rescue swimmer with the U.S. Coast Guard, answering the call in some of the most dangerous conditions imaginable. From violent storms to life-saving missions at sea, those experiences gave him a perspective on life, humanity, and the connections we share that continues to influence his songwriting.
But music has always been part of Curt’s story. Inspired by the people, places, and traditional sounds of his early years, he writes songs that explore the intersection of the highway and the heart. His music bridges past and present, weaving together stories of love, loss, friendship, compassion, and the moments that remind us we're all navigating this life together.
With a sound grounded in Americana, folk, and Appalachian roots traditions, Curt brings an authenticity to his music that comes from a life well-lived and stories worth telling.
Joining Curt for the evening are fellow musicians Ross Graham and Jay Stafford, adding their talents to a performance rooted in the rich traditions of acoustic music.
Come enjoy an evening of original songs, honest storytelling, and talented musicians sharing their craft in the intimate listening-room setting of TPR!
