Charlie Lewis Jr. is an award-winning Associate Broker at Compass and a distinguished lifestyle real estate expert who has closed over $600 million in residential sales in New York City, placing him among the top 4% of agents. His work has been featured on HGTV’s Selling New York, WABC, WNBC, and in leading publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and Essence Magazine.
Beyond real estate, Charlie is a visionary leader and community advocate. He is the real-life inspiration behind the character “Uncle Charlie” in the Netflix series Forever, created by his longtime friend Mara Brock Akil. A proud Howard University alumnus, he has served in numerous leadership roles, including Past President of the Howard University Alumni Association, helping guide a network of over 86,000 alumni.
In 2016, Charlie launched the “Love the Way You Live” brand, expanding his mission to help people not only find homes, but transform their lives through intentional living and self-discovery.
