This is your chance to hear firsthand from the man who’s been at the heart of some amazing moments, training actors for the powerful episodes filmed for "Band of Brothers," "The Pacific," and "Masters of the Air," among others.Dye played roles in over 40 movies and 28 television shows, including that of Colonel Robert Sink in "Band of Brothers" and Captain Harris in "Platoon."
A retired Marine veteran, Dye served three tours in Vietnam, participating in 31 combat operations, which included the Tet Offensive and Battle of Hue. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V" for heroism.
Warriors, Inc. was founded by Dye to train actors in war films so they would portray their roles more realistically. He also provides research, planning, staging and on-set consultation for directors and producers.
As an author, Dye has written several novels, including "Run Between the Raindrops," "Conduct Unbecoming," "Code Word: Geronimo" (story of the Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's compound).
And if you've spent any time gaming, you may be familiar with his voice portraying Gunnery Sergeant Jack Lauton in Medal of Honor: Rising Sun or Colonel Robert Sink in Brothers in Arms.
The evening will kick off with a few memorable moments from 2009, when six Army veterans from Easy Company portrayed in the Band of Brothers were hosted by Patriotic Productions.
