Join us for a special fundraising screening of Does Sound Heal, created in support of this special cause.
Does Sound Heal is an internationally recognised documentary, named a winner at the Hollywood Discovery Awards and New York Film & Cinematography Awards, with further recognition through World Film Festival Cannes and the WA Screen Culture Awards.
Created with original music by the 15-time award-winning En Coda Orchestra, the film brings together neuroscience, cultural knowledge, lived experience and the emotional force of music to ask a deeply human question: what happens in the body when we truly listen?
Through interviews with researchers, neuroscientists, sound practitioners, composers and cultural knowledge holders, the film looks at how sound, rhythm, vibration and music can shape the way we feel, regulate and connect.
After the screening, guests will be invited into a guided live sound journey, a quiet experience using sound and vibration to support rest, reflection and connection.
An evening of film, sound and community, with proceeds supporting those impacted by breast cancer.
