After a sold-out Halloween storytelling event last year, spooky storytelling returns to the Irish American Heritage Center for an evening of stories, poetry, dramatic performances, live music, and Halloween fun! 👻🕯️Join us in the Fifth Province Pub and settle in by the hearth for a varied lineup of storytellers, actors, readers, and musicians bringing the darker, stranger, and more mysterious side of the season to life.
Throughout the evening, performers will share short scary stories, poetry, dramatic monologues and scenes, songs, and atmospheric live music, with pieces ranging from funny and strange to eerie, chilling, and haunting. 🎭🎶
This year, we’re also excited to bring an even stronger Irish cultural element to the evening, including the possibility of performances in the Irish language with English translations, alongside stories and performances inspired by Ireland’s rich tradition of storytelling, folklore, and the supernatural. ☘️
Rather than a traditional staged show, the evening will unfold as a cozy Halloween gathering in the Fifth Province, with music woven between readings and performances to create an immersive atmosphere from beginning to end.
Whether you joined us for last year’s packed house or missed your chance, we’re excited to bring this Halloween tradition back to the IAHC with new performers, new stories, and a few new surprises.
