An ART of Remembrance EventTentatively scheduled for November 7, 2026
Morewood RA centre.
Music, songs, poetry, short stories, paintings and sculptures created by students, veterans, serving military personnel and professional artists with a general theme related to Remembrance, military service and/or sacrifice are all sought to be displayed/performed from 1 pm to 7pm.
A dinner hopefully organized by Morewood RA and the Fire department will be available starting at 5pm as performances continue. Artwork will only be for display purposes (no intended sales at this time).
There will be a donation box available for any contributions to the Morewood Cenotaph committee throughout the day.
Sharing just in case there’s anyone in eastern Ontario that might consider displaying some artwork of their own. Also as a call out to join us to appreciate what we get (I’ll post again when things have firmed up).
Our intent is to make this an annual event if all goes well this year.
