PCS's Symphonic Choir, Youth Choir, and Chamber Choir will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. PCS will present two multi movement works with guest orchestra: “Redeem the Dream” by Brandon Boyd, with a text by Langston Hughes, and Michael Bussewitz-Quarm’s “US” which includes quotations about citizenship from founding fathers to living Americans.
We will also be premiering one of our 2026 Composition Contest winning songs: “A Psalm of Life” by Zach Busch.
This concert is recommended for only ages 6+ as there is no intermission and it requires sitting quietly. We kindly ask that families with children who become restless during the performance step out of the concert space. We appreciate your understanding.
Tickets for this concert as well as an option for season tickets are available at palousechoralsociety.org/concerts/
