We're delighted to welcome two very special guests from Canada to our Axminster Store on Tuesday 10th November at 2pm.
Join Robin Lee, CEO of Lee Valley and Veritas Tools, and Richard Wile, Global Brand Manager at Veritas Tools, for a fascinating insight into the history, craftsmanship and innovation behind these renowned woodworking brands.
With almost 50 years at Lee Valley, Robin has been involved in virtually every aspect of the business, developing a passion for product design, precision engineering and manufacturing along the way. He'll share stories from the company's journey and the thinking behind some of its most celebrated tools.
Joining him is Richard Wile, a lifelong woodworker with experience spanning everything from cabinetmaking and furniture design to woodturning and sharpening. Richard is the author of "A Sharpening Handbook' and has written numerous articles for UK publications such as F&C and Quercus. He will bring his extensive practical knowledge to the event, demonstrating some of his favourite Veritas tools and sharing expert tips and techniques.
Whether you're a long-time Veritas enthusiast or simply appreciate beautifully designed, precision-made tools, this is a rare and fantastic opportunity to meet the people behind the brand, see the tools in action and ask your questions.
