About this Event
The villancico was a common poetic and musical form of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America popular from the late 15th to 18th centuries. With the decline in popularity of the villancicos in the 20th century, the term became reduced to mean merely "Christmas carol".
In this class, we will work on various arrangements in such pieces. We will present to Zambomba Performance in the theater Podium Mozaiek on Sunday 15/12/2024, and possibly in other locations during December.
- The applications will be open till October 19th. Places are limited.
- Instructor: Yota Baron
- Part of the income will be donated to the Zambomba purpose to collect an amount for Christodoulion Orphanage in Athens.
- Classes will be held in the area of Treehouse Tribe on the following dates:
O CTOBER: Saturday 12 from 13.00-15.00 / Sunday 27 from 14.00-15.30
N OVEMBER: Saturdays 9 & 16 from 14.00-15.30
D ECEMBER: Saturdays 8 & 14 from (time to be announced)
