📣 Amphibian Meet-Up – Sunday 16th at Takapuna Beach!We’re kicking things off with our first SwimRun Amphibian Meet-Up next Sunday, 16th – 7:00am right here at Takapuna Beach! 🏖
Meet at 7am for a quick intro and rundown of what we’ll be doing, then we’ll head off on a small SwimRun route from Takapuna to Castor Bay and back — or a shorter option if you prefer. We’ll wrap up with a coffee and a good chat afterwards ☕
Bring any SwimRun gear you’ve got — definitely your togs, paddles, shoes, and pull buoy — and let’s get this thing started! 🏊♂️🏃♀️
We’ll spend about an hour covering:
✅ What SwimRun is all about
✅ How to set up and use your gear
✅ How the swim-run-repeat format works
✅ Training tips and ideas for all levels
It’s a relaxed, hands-on intro session — so bring your gear, your questions, and your smiles! 😄
You’ll also get the chance to meet other likeminded Amphibians, connect with local SwimRun fans, and find training partners to join you on your journey.
