Join the Adelphi Orchestra as we proudly launch our landmark 73rd consecutive season with "American Voices at 250."Led by Principal Conductor Kyunghun Kim, this opening concert commemorates America’s Semiquincentennial alongside the 200th anniversary legacy of Ludwig van Beethoven.
We are thrilled to welcome guest soloist Sophia Werner—a Juilliard Kovner Fellow and First Place winner of the 2026 Elizabeth Loker International Competition. Werner will take the stage performing Samuel Barber’s virtuosic Violin Concerto on an extraordinary 1864 J.B. Vuillaume violin on loan from Juilliard.
The program opens with Barber's deeply expressive Adagio for Strings and concludes with the vibrant energy of Beethoven's Symphony No. 8.
