About this Event
This American Red Cross Lifeguarding course provides entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over.
Attendance to all class sessions is required.

Blended Learning courses require at-home computer and internet access. Your order confirmation message and email contain the link to access the blended learning course.
To successfully complete the course, you must attend all class sessions, complete all online learning modules, demonstrate competency in all required skills and scenarios, and pass the final written exams with a minimum grade of 80 percent.
Upon successful completion, you will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, valid for two years.
Participants who do not successfully complete this course do not receive a refund or credit.
This course involves very challenging physical competency throughout the class. It also requires participants to successfully pass a written test. If you foresee a need for any special accommodations with any of these, please contact us prior to the beginning of the course, if possible, to discuss possible accommodations (i.e. having the test read aloud, accommodations for health concerns, etc.).
Cancellation Policy: Refunds (less EventBrite fees) are available up to 7 days in advance of the class. No refunds or transfers will be issued within 7 days of the class.
