Join the Medical Arts Symphony Orchestra for our opening concert of the 2026-27 season at a new-to-us venue, Atonement Lutheran (9948 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park)! We join in the celebration of America's 250th birthday with two gems by American composers: George Gershwin's "An American in Paris" and Howard Hanson's Symphony No. 2, "Romantic," led by Music Director Steve Lewis.
Learn more about the music with Carolyn Brewer in a pre-concert talk at 6:45.
This concert is FREE and no reservations or tickets are required. It is given in memory of Dr. Barry Nickell, longtime violinist and past president of the MAS Board. We are grateful to Barry and his wife Margaret for their tireless support.
