It's that time again for our next Sunday Fun-draiser taking place October 18 from 1-3 at HOKOB. This go around we are raising money for the Habersham Chapter of the American Cancer Society. This is a great cause and most of us have been touched in some way by cancer rather it be losing a loved one or seeing someone battle and beat cancer.Our friend Eric Thurmond will be on hand with live music as we welcome in fall with a fall harvest menu featuring...
-Texga Farms beef, mushroom, and fall vegetable stew
-Vegetarian Harvest Stew
-Zuppa Toscano
-sourdough bread from Bon Cocoa
-Roasted Beet and Pear Salad
-Gulf Oysters roasted with pancetta, caramelized onions, apple, and pecorino
-Springer Mountain Farm chicken with brown butter, maple, and fresh sage
-Apple Cider Braised Pork Shoulder
-sides of butternut squash pudding, roasted root vegetables, crispy brussels sprouts with apple gastrique, and mashed sweet potatoes
-dessert by Bon Cocoa
-cash bar with sales going to the American Cancer Society
Tickets are $50 which includes a drink from the bar or $40 with tea/water
