Happy Birthday, America! We’ll celebrate the birth of our democracy from two vantage points. First, a new major work by Z. Randall Stroope exploring the life of Benjamin Franklin. We will also honor our military veterans who have fought to defend our democracy, with a composition entitled, Dreams of the Fallen by Jake Runesrtad. Both composers will be present to guest conduct their major works! The Chapel stage will be full with an orchestra and nearly 140 singers including our High School Master Singers, a select group of high school singers from area schools, a full orchestra. An exhibit of artwork, poems, photos, and texts by our local Veterans will be displayed at the post-concert reception presented by our collaborating partner, The Fox Valley Veterans Council.Thank you to our Concert Partners for their generous support, Dennis Reimer and Jeanie Kurka Reimer.
