Chin Chin Entertainment proudly presents Ventura Highway—starring award-winning guitarist Jeff Ellis, multi-instrumentalist Jim Wootten - son of legendary bassist Red Wootten and newphew of the famous Les Paul and Mary Ford; Michael Olivieri the absolute premier America tribute show that fills up theatres and keeps audiences singing from the very first chord! This isn't just a concert; it's a feel good experience that perfectly channels the nostalgic feel from a magical time back in the 1970s.
Ventura Highway is an all-star tribute supergroup. The band is known for capturing America's signature breezy acoustic rock sound, storytelling, and complex vocal arrangements. The FrontmenThe band features three exceptional frontmen who share lead vocal duties and acoustic guitars:
- Jeff Ellis: An award-winning lead guitarist and vocalist known for his precise and soulful classic rock delivery (previously of Escape and Frampton Comes Alive).
- Jim Wootten: A talented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist carrying on a massive musical lineage. He is the son of legendary bassist Red Wootten and the nephew of guitar pioneer Les Paul and Mary Ford. He also spent 23+ years with Led Zepagain.
- Michael Olivieri: A powerhouse vocalist and local rock heavyweight, widely recognized as an original member of the heavy metal band Leatherwolf and a former touring member of Jack Russell’s Great White.
The Rhythm SectionBacking the three frontmen is a seasoned rhythm section that keeps the groove locked in:
- Joey Alva: Bass guitar and backing harmonies.
