On Veterans Day, November 11 at 3:00 p.m., St. John’s Episcopal Church at 225 French Street in Bangor, Maine, will remember our country’s wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The program will include poetry, music for cello and piano by Marisa Solomon and Patricia Stowell, and reflections from speakers including Rabbi Bill Siemers of Congregation Beth Israel and wartime Deputy Ambassador to Iraq Robert Ford. A reception will follow.
