As America marks 250 years, this gathering invites us to look forward: What kind of communities do we hope to build, and what role can ordinary people play in helping to build them?
Join neighbors from across our community for a thoughtful, respectful, nonpartisan community conversation about how relationships, trust, shared purpose, and small actions can contribute to stronger communities.
Together, we will explore questions such as:
• What helps people build the relationships and trust needed to work together?
• How can people with different backgrounds and perspectives discover shared values and common purpose?
• What can we learn from one another about strengthening our neighborhoods and communities?
• How can meaningful conversation lead to small, constructive actions that make a difference?
You do not have to agree on everything to build something worthwhile together.
This is not a political debate and is not affiliated with a political party or campaign. People of different backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, and perspectives are welcome. Come ready to share, listen, learn, connect, and explore what we might build together.
