Join the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Allegheny Cemetery for a special America 250 Revolutionary War Pomeroy Patriot Marker Dedication.This solemn ceremony will honor twenty-four documented Patriots of the American Revolution who rest within these historic grounds. The program will include a color guard, music by the Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh Choir, a ceremonial roll call and bell toll for each Patriot, remarks from Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor and other distinguished guests, a keynote address by Colonel William P. Boswell, USAF Ret., and the formal unveiling and dedication of the Pomeroy Patriot Marker.
Please join us as we remember their service, honor their sacrifice, and preserve their legacy for future generations.
