Set sail on your writing journey at the Amelia Island Book Festival Writer’s Circle Fall Workshop! “Steering the Craft: A 21st-Century Guide to Sailing the Sea of Story” by Ursula Le Guin will be used to steer this engaging, hands-on afternoon designed to help writers strengthen their craft, find their voice, and navigate the challenges of bringing a story to life. Whether you’re just beginning a novel or memoir or already deep into your manuscript, you’ll gain practical insights into hooks, point of view, powerful language, plotting, character development, and the writing process—then put those ideas into action through guided writing prompts and lively group discussion.
