ChessPalace, a chess club here in Orange County, hosts this monthly Amateur Tournament at a casual and welcoming venue for beginners. Players experience playing over-the-board chess with the touch move/touch capture rule and using a clock along with the intensity and pressure that comes with competition. Scores matter in a tournament!
Chess medals are awarded for winning more than half of your assigned games.
