About this Event
This session runs every Sunday, 6–8pm at 1000 Trades in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Using the same format as a traditional life drawing class, each session features a costumed model, including cosplayers, drag artists, performers, and creatives with distinctive visual identities. You’ll work through a mixture of short and longer timed poses, exploring character, costume, fabric, expression, and storytelling while developing your observational drawing skills.
The sessions are suitable for all abilities and offer a welcoming, inclusive space to experiment, meet other artists, and draw something a little different. Some materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
£10 Paid in the session • Booking Recommended • No admission after 6pm
