Ceramics Workshop: Altered Forms with Libbey Brown Saturday, November 7, 9 am to 2 pm
and Sunday, November 8, 9 am to 4 pm
Join Libbey Brown in exploring movement and surface texture through thrown and altered forms. Focusing on mugs and vases, Libbey will guide you through techniques such as darting, adding holes, and addressing rims and feet while considering functionality. These techniques can be applied to a variety of forms in your practice.
Libbey has a BFA in Art Education with a focus in Ceramics from Bowling Green State University. She is currently in a Residency Program at Core Clay in Cincinnati, OH. She fires her work in atmospheric kilns and has participated in the Dragon Fire Anagama Kiln firings here in Danville.
