Alpona Workshop – A Little Piece of Bengal Following the inclusion of the Bengali Association of Finland’s
Durga Puja in the Finnish National Inventory of Living Heritage,
we are delighted to organise an Alpona Workshop in collaboration with the Helinä Rautavaara Museum
Through this workshop, we aim to celebrate and share the beauty of Bengali folk art, culture, and traditions with people of all backgrounds.
Come join us for a fun and relaxing Alpona painting workshop!
Alpona is a beautiful traditional Bengali folk art, made with decorative patterns and motifs. In this workshop, you’ll get to learn a little about the tradition and create your own Alpona inspired artwork.
🎨 No previous painting experience needed!
