Join ALPFA Baltimore for the 2026 Student Summit, bringing together students, professionals, recruiters, corporate partners, and ALPFA leaders for an engaging day focused on leadership, professional development, career exploration, and networking.
Whether you are preparing for an internship, looking ahead to your first full-time opportunity, exploring different career paths, or simply hoping to grow your professional network, the Student Summit is designed to provide practical tools, valuable insights, and connections that can help you move forward with confidence.
What to Expect
Professional headshots will be available throughout the day!
9:00 – 10:00 AM | Registration & Networking Breakfast
Check in, enjoy a light breakfast, and begin the day connecting with fellow students, ALPFA members, and professionals.
10:00 – 10:45 AM | Welcome Remarks & Keynote
Hear opening remarks from ALPFA leadership followed by an inspiring keynote focused on leadership, career growth, and empowering the next generation of Latino professionals and leaders.
10:45 – 11:00 AM | Break & Transition
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Breakout Session I
Students will select from concurrent professional development sessions designed to strengthen career readiness, leadership skills, and business knowledge.
12:00 – 1:00 PM | Networking Lunch
Connect with fellow students, professionals, sponsors, employers, and ALPFA chapter leaders while expanding your professional network.
1:00 – 1:50 PM | Breakout Session II
Choose another interactive session focused on practical skills and insights you can apply throughout your academic and professional journey.
2:00 – 4:00 PM | Career Fair, Employer Networking & Professional Headshots
Finish the summit by connecting directly with recruiters and employers.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Explore internship and full-time career opportunities
- Meet recruiters and professionals from participating organizations
- Learn more about different industries and career paths
- Receive résumé and career feedback
- Expand their professional network
- Take a professional headshot
Who Should Attend?
Students who are interested in building their careers, expanding their networks, and learning directly from professionals and employers are encouraged to attend.
Students from Towson University and other colleges and universities throughout the region are welcome.
We also encourage graduate and community college students to register and participate. Please note that individual employer recruiting opportunities and eligibility requirements may vary by organization.
