About this Event
Join us at Alnwick Library for a relaxed and informal afternoon of poetry. We will be joined by local poet, Greg Freeman.
Greg has published three poetry collections, and is news and reviews editor of the international poetry website Write Out Loud. Four years ago he moved from Surrey to the village of Longframlington, and now thinks of himself as a naturalised Northumbrian. The theme of this year’s National Poetry Day is Wonder - and Greg will be reading poems that he has written since moving north. Come and hear how a former southerner regards Northumberland!
There will also be the opportunity to ask Greg questions, and for attendees to share their own poetry if they wish.
Refreshments will be available for a small donation.
