In an effort to expand upon the goals of leadership; long-term, group-oriented learning opportunity, the Leadership Park City Alumni Association presents a learning opportunity series drawn from the depth of our Alumni. This TEDx-style event will feature fellow Leadership Park City Alumni who will share their motivating insights, knowledge, and experiences. It is sure to be an enlightening, entertaining, and inspiring evening and a great chance to get to know other LPC Alumni.

Leslie Thatcher (Class 29)
A trusted voice of the Wasatch Back for more than 36 years, Leslie joined KPCW in 1990 and serves as Senior News Director and longtime host and producer of Local News Hour. Since 2009, she has also hosted The Sundance Reel, interviewing hundreds of filmmakers and industry leaders. A dedicated community volunteer and recipient of multiple local service awards, Leslie will retire from KPCW at the end of 2026.
Dana Williams (Class 2)
Dana’s Park City story spans farming, business, conservation, civic engagement, and three terms as mayor. He helped form Citizens Allied for Responsible Growth, co-founded the Summit Land Conservancy with Cheryl Fox, and championed open space, affordable housing, and socioeconomic diversity during his time in office. He remains active in the community, operates a small handyman business, and continues to play in a local band.
Rob Lea (Class 11)
Rob achieved what no other person has accomplished: completing both the Seven Summits and Oceans Seven in a 17-year pursuit he calls the “Double Seven.” With support from his environmentalist wife, Caroline Gleich, he climbed the highest peak on every continent and completed seven notoriously difficult, unassisted solo ocean-channel crossings, finishing in June 2026. A Park City realtor who reached this milestone without a large support team or major sponsorships, Rob’s story shows that extraordinary adventure can begin on your own terms.
