Detroit trumpeter, composer and bandleader Allen Dennard is a Detroit Jazz Festival headliner (2022, 2025) and a U-M Jazz Studies grad mentored by the great Marcus Belgrave. He's played behind Dwele, Mike Phillips and Walter Blanding, recorded with Alice Cooper, and toured Japan as a Detroit jazz ambassador. His 2025 release Black Valley (Motor City Wine Records) follows the DMA-nominated Flashback. Expect jazz laced with house, hip hop and funk.About Lucille’s
