“All Things Legal” with Grace Tillman - Saturday, October 10th at 9:30am Our next Women’s Connect meeting will feature Grace Tillman, Senior Corporate Counsel with Oberman Law Firm. Grace will guide us through “All Things Legal” in a friendly, easy‑to‑understand way. She will be offering general legal information (not personal legal advice), and we invite you to submit questions ahead of time to [email protected] so she can prepare.
Grace can speak on topics such as:
- Employment & workplace basics (ADA, FMLA, age discrimination, HR issues)
- Contracts & agreements (what to look for, how they work)
- Real estate basics (client vs. customer, disclosures, landlord/tenant rights)
- Health care regulations (HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, compliance)
- General legal processes (how laws work, what people should know)
Grace cannot provide personal legal advice, review individual documents, or discuss criminal matters, but she is happy to help us understand the laws that affect everyday life.
