Women's bodies have been observed, judged, sexualized, regulated and compared throughout history. From the way we dress and move to how we age, express desire, occupy space and relate to one another, there are expectations woven into almost every aspect of our physical existence. An these expectations don’t affect all women equally. Our experiences are shaped by age, race, disability, body size, reproductive history, culture and the social environments we live in.
𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 is a gathering where we can question some of these inherited expectations, share our lived experiences, and celebrate the diversity of women's bodies through movement, honest conversation, creativity, play and connection.

🌿 Body Playground - exploring how we move, hold ourselves and occupy space.
🌿 Body Awareness - getting curious about the ways we've learned to sense ourselves and our environment, and how we respond to our surroundings.
🌿 Relational Explorations - experimenting with boundaries, proximity and choice.
🌿 Being Witnessed - exploring the experience of being seen by other women, individually, in pairs and in small groups.
🌿 Collective Creativity - creating a Body Mandala and a Flower Mandala together.
🌿 Rest and Nourishment - swimming, sauna, steam room, ice bath and time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬, 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬.

We'll gather at WellNest Sauna & Ice Bath, surrounded by gardens and mountain views. From 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, we'll have exclusive use of this beautiful venue for our facilitated gathering, and after that you're welcome to stay and enjoy the facilities at your own pace, including the 25-metre saltwater swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and ice bath. Access is available for the rest of the day. The venue also offers a healthy & delicious food and drinks menu, available for purchase separately.

I'm Gabriella, and I've been holding women's spaces for over a decade. My work is rooted in creating inclusive, body-based, relational and nourishing spaces where there is room for complexity, honesty and the many layers of being human.
All my gatherings are trauma-informed and shame-sensitive.
