This dynamic St. Louis band brings together the seasoned talents of two beloved musical duos — Auset and Brad Sarno of the Auset Music Project, and Andy Ploof and John Wendland of The Wilhelms — to create a rich, genre-blending sound that defies easy classification.
Joined by veteran musician Tony Estrada (All the Days, Rough Shop), on bass and vocals, BAJA crafts a compelling mélange of roots music, weaving together threads of folk, rock, country, and singer-songwriter traditions. The band’s performances are a vibrant tapestry of original songs and thoughtfully chosen covers, brought to life with a rotating cast of instruments including pedal steel, mandolin, dobro, banjo, guitar, harmonica, and percussion.
