About this Event

Do you love to sing?

Come unleash the power of your voice in playful community.

In collaboration with Circle Jawn Singers and First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia, Chicago based singer and sound healing artist, is bringing his beloved community singing experience to Philly.

Davin is the founder and host of , a vibrant community singing gathering for anyone and everyone who loves to sing.

Circle Singing is a shared vocal practice championed by the artist Bobby McFerrin. During this gathering Davin builds improvised songs in the moment using call and response, simple patterns and layered grooves. Davin stands in the center, teaches easily sung phrases, and guides the room as those patterns loop, stack and evolve into rich, living soundscapes.

What unfolds is nothing short of magic. ✨

🎶 No Experience Necessary

Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or someone who just loves to sing in the shower, your voice belongs here. This is an inclusive, supportive space to explore the joy of sound, expression, and community.

😰 Feeling Nervous?

That's totally normal!

This gathering is designed to be a mistake-free, judgment-free, easygoing environment.

We let go of the rules, restrictions, and fears often found in traditional singing settings—and just SING. When we do, something truly magical happens.

About Davin:

Davin Youngs is a Chicago based singer, sound healing artist and keynote speaker. He is the creator of The RESET, an immersive sound experience that has been featured at venues like Chicago’s Orchestra Hall, The Kennedy Center, Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville and Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver.

At the heart of Davin’s work is a simple but radical belief: the voice is one of the most powerful vehicles for personal and collective change. He has spent years exploring how sound, song and courageous self expression can help people move through fear, soften old stories and experience themselves in a new way. For Davin, singing is not just about making something “sound good” but about opening a doorway to freedom, regulation and deeper aliveness.

Davin is also the founder of Chicago Circle Singing, a large, monthly community singing gathering in Chicago that brings together people from all walks of life to sing improvised music in circle. In these spaces, strangers become collaborators, audiences become ensembles and the old divide between “performer” and “listener” gently dissolves. He has seen again and again how community based singing practices create belonging, build resilience and remind people that they are not alone.

His work sits at the intersection of music, meditation, sound healing and spiritual practice, inviting people into freedom and transformation through the voice.
