The Saint Mark’s choir will offer a Choral Evensong in honor of All Saints’. Choral works will include the stirring Evening Service in D by George Dyson, responses by Kenneth Leighton, and anthems by Felix Mendelssohn and Tomás Luis de Victoria.
Organ music will include the Introduction and Passacaglia from Sonata No. 8 by Josef Rheinberger and the beautiful Meditation from Jules Massenet’s opera Thaïs, featuring Stefanie Bester on violin.
Admission is free. Donations will be gratefully received in support of the choir’s upcoming residency at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland, in summer 2028.
A reception will follow. Please join us for this beautiful and contemplative service, and be sure to invite some friends!
