About this Event
The goal of Circling is for a group of people to see the world through your eyes, and for you to see the world through other people’s eyes. We flourish under the influence of caring, curious, and non-judgmental attention – and so does the connection between us.
Circling is designed to:
- Cut through the crust of superficiality and alienation
- Drop you into the deeper waters of connection
- Help you examine the thoughts behind your thoughts, the assumptions behind your opinions, and the peculiar alchemy that turns a stranger into a friend
We’re going to explore the five principles of circling at our all-levels circling sessions through the end of 2026. A fundamental principle of circling is the willingness to lovingly explore the world of another person. To do that, you must have curiosity about what is happening while dropping your assumptions and judgments. All the while, can you maintain a presence and awareness of yourself? This is a vulnerable proposal for everyone, but it can create feelings of deep intimacy and appreciation for the richness of life.
By the end of the session, you’re likely to feel more grounded, more open-hearted, peaceful, and connected.
