Oliver has shot many types of photography, but macro photography has been a major passion of his for well over a decade. In this 60-minute talk, Oliver will discuss some of his macro adventures (both abroad and closer to home) and how his macro photography has evolved over the years with advancing camera technology. Specifically what advantages the new Canon mirrorless cameras and lenses deliver when doing macro photography and videos.
Oliver will cover tips and tricks which will help you with macro photography and video as he goes through the talk, including how to use your photography equipment, techniques that help make macro photography easier and also the importance of field craft.

About Oliver Wright:
Oliver has been a professional photographer since 2014 after a career in project management. He has always had a keen interest in nature. During the winter he works guiding clients to view and photograph aurora, arctic landscapes and wildlife in Abisko, Northern Sweden. Then in the summer more focuses on his own projects and also guiding macro workshops both in the UK and abroad.
Oliver has worked closely with Canon since 2015 talking at some of the major events such as Global Bird Fair and the Photography Show.
