All Hallows Folkwalk:
An atmospheric walk around Sandwich celebrating the seasonal folklore, customs and rituals of Allhallowstide.
Led by writer, walking artist and psychogeographer .
What to expect:
- Welcome refreshments on arrival at Sandwich Medieval Centre: autumnal tisanes, tea and coffee.
- Easy town-centre terrain, involving some narrow lanes.
- An introduction to the folklore and customs of Allhallowstide.
- Light-hearted ritual actions, readings and song along the way.
- Finishing at Creepy Moon for a seasonal treat and warming beverage.
Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance. Details of location and logistics will be sent to ticket holders in advance of the walk.
This is a walk outside, subject to the elements. Please dress appropriately for the weather with sensible footwear.
Suitable for ages 16+.
NB: The walk will go ahead unless weather is so severe as to be unsafe. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the host.
Ticket price includes a donation to the work of The Sandwich Medieval Trust.
