A night of folk horror plumbed via ritual, performance and song, with SEEKERS, Tom Comitta and others. Before it was Halloween it was Samhain, a weeklong festival for the turn of the season, when the veil between worlds was said to thin. Come celebrate this threshold week with music and film at the edges of saying, dream, legibility, and horror.
SEEKERS (Jessica Hundley and Jed Maheu) invites the audience to pull three Major Arcana Tarot cards and turns them into song. Tom Comitta premieres Folk Horror, an album of classic horror stories, poems, and paranormal encounters set to folk music. More acts TBA!
SEEKERS explores the esoteric through performance, soundscapes and storytelling, offering sonic and spoken word journeys through the vast landscapes of the liminal.
