The assembly of Dākinīs, and we as practitioners, share an extremely profound connection with the power of the body, mind, and consciousness. Among the many methods for properly establishing a connection with the power of one’s outer, inner, and secret aspects, it is vital to establish a connection with the Dākinīs— who possess primordial wisdom and miraculous power—to nourish, protect, and increase the power of one’s inner wisdom. Those practicing the sādhana of the Dākinī deepen their understanding of meditation, overcome outer, inner, and secret obstacles, and accumulate merit.
By means of the ritual of making offerings, together with feast offering, we establish a connection with the Dākinīs and request their blessings. Through this, and throughout our lives, we ensure that peace and great joy of body and mind never decline, and that we constantly possess the power of our own meditation and wisdom. Therefore, both old and new practitioners are welcome to participate without distinction.
Tibetan Bön Rimé Geshe Namgyal primarily teaches Dzogchen. He established the nonprofit Kunsang Gar in 2016 and has been teaching in California, Latin America, Europe and online. Geshe teaches that by directly introducing the primordial Buddha Nature through Pure Dzogchen teachings, one can enter into that recognition and discover true peace, strength, and fearlessness in life.
His most recent books are Pure Dzogchen, Holy Women of Great Perfection, The Essence of Untimate Bliss and The Changeless Twelve Sentences.
