About this Event
The evening features two of Brahms’ most celebrated works, beginning with his Piano Concerto No. 1, performed by Canadian pianist . Brahms has filled this creation with dramatic contrasts, powerful orchestral writing, and lyrical melodies, which showcases both the intensity and tenderness of his music. The program concludes with the powerful, personal and expressive Symphony No. 3, balancing an impassioned opening theme with warm melodies and rich orchestral textures.
