Join Walker’s Family Farms for a look at how fresh apples are transformed into a classic fall favorite!Learn about the traditional process of making apple butter, from choosing and preparing the apples to cooking, seasoning, and preserving the finished product. Walker’s will share their experience making apple butter on the farm, along with tips for making your own at home. The presentation will include samples of their apple butter for participants to enjoy.
This program will be held at the Pike County Public Library on Thursday, November 5th at 5:00. No registration is required.
