Please join Ali for this cleanup of Arcade Creek, behind the Walmart in Citrus Heights as we attempt to CONNECT MORE DOTS! We will continue to partner with Arcade Creek - Adopt A Creek Project to focus on another infamously trashed stretch of this 18-plus mile creek. We will park in the most southeast portion of the property, behind the Walmart Garden Department, then walk to our cleanup spot upstream of the infamous beaver dam. From there, we will follow the trash upstream, removing litter and bulk items both in the creek and adjacent thereto. This cleanup location has some challenging access spots into the creek and may require a rope to get into the channel, however, there are some flat spots as well for easy pickinβ.
AGE LIMIT: This event is not suitable for minors under 12 years old. Minors 12 and older are invited, but must be supervised by a responsible adult during the entire event.

If you have a cultivator or shovel, those could also be handy. Participants will be required to wear rain boots or waders if they intend to get into water, if any. Entry into any waters is always optional.
