Alice Unchained is an acoustic tribute to the music of Alice In Chains, bringing the raw emotion, haunting harmonies, and unmistakable sound of one of grunge’s most iconic bands to life. Inspired by the legendary MTV Unplugged performance, Alice Unchained delivers stripped-down renditions of fan favorites like “Nutshell,” “Down in a Hole,” and “Rooster,” capturing the dark beauty and powerful vocal interplay that made Alice In Chains timeless. Intimate, authentic, and unforgettable, Alice Unchained celebrates the songs and sound that continue to resonate with generations of fans.
Founded by former Candlebox Guitarist, Brian Quinn, the band comprises an all-star lineup of acclaimed musicians from the Philadelphia, PA region including: Drummer Chad Szeliga (Breaking Benjamin, Black Label Society), Bassist Mike Vlaanderen (Fosterchild, Octane), Guitarist Jordan Demarest, and Vocalists Sam Bortnick and Nick McGrath.
With a lineup of seasoned musicians and a shared appreciation for the music that defined a generation, Alice Unchained goes beyond simply recreating the songs. The band captures the grit, vulnerability, and haunting beauty at the heart of Alice In Chains’ music, delivering a powerful experience for longtime fans and a new generation discovering the band’s legacy. Whether on stage or in an intimate acoustic setting, Alice Unchained brings new life to the songs that refuse to fade.
